For everyday, emergency or liferaft use, the Echomax EM12 is a popular corner 12inch 30cm ball radar reflector. The RORC recommend a mounting height of 4 metres above sea level or as high as possible on small craft. Mounted in the catch rain position recommended, with the open corners facing the horizon and at a mounted height of 10 ~35 feet, it will give an approximate radar response between 4 ~7 nautical miles. In the catch rain position the EM12 gives a maximum Radar Cross Sectional area of 5.57m2 and an average RCS of 1.77m2. Meets ISAF rules 2015 and on USCG approved radar reflector list

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
