The FastFind Return Link is a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) that when triggered, transmits a unique serialized ID to the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system which pinpoints user location. This information is then forwarded from the Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) to the appropriate local Search and Rescue (SAR) services. This waterproof PLB is fully submersible down to 10 meters. It features an inbuilt GPS and Galileo receiver that pinpoints user location within a few meters and decode RLMs. If the GPS-Galileo is struggling to find a position fix and RLM (i.e. if affected by dense tree cover or steep-sides canyon) the satellites can still pinpoint approximate user location and the unit���s secondary homing transmitter enables SAR teams to home in on exact location once they are in the vicinity. This unit also features a flashing SOS light which can be used to attract attention.
