The Chubby Chernobyl has become a household name and for good reason.  Taking what we loved about this pattern we created RIO’s Big-Boned Caddis.  It has the framework (bones) of the Chubby but in sizes/shapes that are much more like the Caddisfly.  This fly floats very well and is easy to see.  It’s two-tone poly wing gives the indication of a fluttering wing, which is the trout version of ringing the dinner bell.  This pattern comes in Tan (12, 14, 16), Olive (12, 14, 16) and for those lucky enough to experience October Caddis, we have Orange (8).
