Scotty Hairtrigger Releases are a fully adjustable tension release clip. The hairtrigger style releases feature a simple twist of the yellow nut allowing you to increase or decrease the amount of tension desired in order for the release to occur. One of the only release clips on the market that works exceptionally well when using it in conjunction with braided fishing line.

Hairtrigger Release Models

Scotty Model 1020 - The pin is attached to the clip body to prevent loss.
Scotty Model 1030 -18" heavy monofilament leader. The heavy monofilament line between the wire clip and the release end allows detection of small fish on the rod tip and permits easier hookups.
Scotty Model 1031 - 48" leader with stacking, self-locating snap.
Scotty Model 1032 -18" leader with stacking, self-locating snap.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
