The tell tale is a product that has not evolved, not been updated and not been improved since they were designed despite major flaws, until now.
Sea Sure’s new FLO tell tales are shaped in an aero ~foiled tear drop and manufactured from glass filled nylon. The rounded top surface to the tear drop allows the wool to stand 6mm off the sail so that the wool never gets stuck to sail when it is wet.
This means that whether it is raining, or you have just recovered from a capsize, you will be able to carry on sailing and get the feedback you need from the sail straight away.
FLO has been designed by former Americas cup designer and current coach to the British Olympic Team Derek Clark. FLO has been tested and used around the world by world champions and featured in the 2019 Moth World Championships.

INSTALLATION
Rinse sail and dry to ensure it is clean and there is no salt residue if you sail on the sea.
Apply one tell tail at a time
Remove backing and apply firm pressure for 2 minutes by pressing the tell tale on to the sail with something like a table underneath to press against.
Repeat with other tell tales

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
