The quick-release function of this cleat allows non experienced boaters to quickly dock and undock with one simple click. The QRBSB-150 is the fender base receptacle only. This base has 1 3/4" of threads to get through the deck of most boats. Use this kit when there is no access on the inside of the boat to tighten the standard nut. Installation of this base requires a 1” hole saw, a sharp new tool is recommended for best results.
