Verado 225/250/275/300HP Outboards Anode Kit – 8M0126671

This anode kit is designed to provide essential corrosion protection for the Mercury Verado series outboard engines. Anodes are crucial for preventing damage to various parts of the engine from electrolysis and the harsh marine environment, particularly in saltwater. This kit is specifically made for the Verado 225, 250, 275, and 300HP outboards.

Replacing anodes on a boat is crucial because they act as "sacrificial" metals, designed to corrode and dissolve instead of the other metal components on your boat, like the propeller and hull fittings, protecting them from galvanic corrosion which can cause significant damage if left unchecked.

200-300HP 2.6L L6 Verado 4-stroke (G1-G4) (SN 2B144122 & Below)
200-300HP 2.6L L6 Verado 4-Stroke (G5) (SN 2B144123 & Above)
350HP SCI 2.6L L6 4-Stroke (SN 1B716557 – 2B43542)

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
