The Extol Japanese saw has a blade of thin steel and, unlike conventional saws, the saw cuts into the material on the pull stroke. Since the blade is in tension during the cutting it does not flex as much during cutting. The result is a clean cut and, thanks to fine teeth, less cutting effort.

Being a "Zero Kerf" saw, the blade can be pressed against a surface without damage to the surface
Used for precise and clean cutting of various types of wood, plastics (eg PVC and ABS pipes) and similar materials

info: Being a Japanese style saw (cuts on the pull part of the stroke) the blade is thinner then a western style saw. This results in finer cuts with less loss due to the kerf of the blade. It also results in less force required to cut.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
