Thanks to the premium ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass, the binoculars produce brilliant, true-colour images in stunning colours. The ED glass significantly reduces scattered light and prevents chromatic aberration. It also increases the light transmission and allows you to observe the surroundings in high resolution and stunning detail.

All optical components in the ALPEN  OPTICS Rainier HD binoculars feature ALPEN's exclusive UBX multi-layer coating to ensure maximum light transmission. Thanks to the more than 60 layers of our SHR metallic and PXA phase coating on the extra-large BaK-4 prisms, images are rendered with exceptional sharpness, contrast and colour fidelity.

Durable and weatherproof design

The durable ALPEN  OPTICS Rainier 10x42 HD binoculars come with a rubber armouring and are ideal for hunting and other outdoor activities - even in adverse weather. The waterproof magnesium housing protects the optics from rain, fog, snow and other environmental influences. In addition, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen to prevent the lenses from steaming up on the inside.


Perfect for spectacle wearers

The ALPEN OPTICS Rainier binoculars are equipped with twist-up eyecups to ensure maximum viewing comfort for people who wear glasses. Simply fold over the eyecups to obtain the perfect distance between your eyes and the eyepieces lenses. Thanks to the LE (long eye relief) eyepieces, you will be able to see the entire field of view. The binoculars are also equipped with an A-lock dioptre system, which locks your settings in place to ensure that the optics stay perfectly adjusted to your vision.

Unlike the standard BK-7, the optics are made from BaK-4 glass (barium crown glass) that produces even sharper and brighter images. The high-quality BaK-4 glass optics are used in all ALPEN Optics products sold in Europe.

The optics are fully coated with a premium multi-layer coating, which increases the light transmission to up to 95% to produce stunningly bright images.

Weatherproof design

The binoculars are filled with nitrogen, which prevents the inside of the lenses from fogging up and obstructing your view during abrupt changes in temperature.

Thanks to the A-lock dioptre adjustment, you can quickly adjust for differences in vision between your eyes. There is also a convenient built-in lock, which locks your setting in place so that you don’t have to readjust the optics when you reach your next observation spot.

Water-repellent coating for unobstructed view

Thanks to the exclusive ALPEN LPE water-repellent lens coating, water drips off the lenses just like a lotus flower! This ensures that dirt is washed away during rainy weather to give you an unobstructed field of view.

Nitrogen filling

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
