A bolt stop handle is there to hold the slide open when desired. Whether you choose the model with the classic walnut or a composite stock, all are supplied with a set of shims so the stock can be cast left or right, and the drop adjusted to personal preference. The cross-bolt safety can similarly be set to operate left or right.
