The mooring rod buoy features a heavy duty steel rod made from 18mm Galvanised steel and forged swivel (certificated to 5 tons), providing reliability, quality and value for money. The Norfloat standard football type needle inflation valve is reliable and effective, allowing easy inflation and deflation. The valve is sealed using a coarse threaded plastic screw which is impossible to cross thread. The plastic design ensures seawater will not cause corrosion or seizure.
